Prospect · by Forest Integrations

One calm desk for the investing you do yourself.

Prospect brings crypto, stocks, commodities, dividend investing, trend readings and the public trade disclosures of members of Congress into one desk, with live prices while it runs. Your venue credentials stay on your computer, every order goes straight from your desktop to the venue, and the server keeps the journal and the guards. Prospect is a desk, not an advisor; every order is yours.

In preview  Windows and macOS. Signs in with your Microsoft account; your records stay in your own tenant.

A made-up desk, to show the shape. Calm, sourced, and yours to decide on.

What it does

The markets you follow, the record you keep, in one place.

Every market, one board

Stocks and funds, crypto, and the commodities: gold and the other metals, energy, grains, livestock and softs, each followed through the futures contract, the fund that tracks it, the spot quote and the official reference series. Live prices while the app runs, a chart with volume and moving averages for every symbol.

Orders from your desktop, straight to the venue

Connect Alpaca, Kraken, Robinhood Crypto or Coinbase, with more on the way. A credential is made on the venue's own site, pasted into the app once, and encrypted by your operating system. Orders go from your computer to the venue; the server never sees a key.

A journal with guards in front of it

Every order is written down before it is sent and updated with the venue's answer. Paper trading comes first. A live order passes a trading hold your organization can set, a live-trading permission that is never anyone's default, and a ceiling on order size, then you confirm it by typing the symbol.

Dividends, planned

The ex-dates ahead on a calendar, a profile for each symbol with its growth, frequency, streak and yield, and the annual income your positions project.

The trades Congress reports

The public STOCK Act disclosures of senators and representatives, read from the official sites, with the tickers being bought and sold, the most active members and the largest trades over any window you choose.

Trend readings, alerts, and questions

A reading per symbol from its daily bars, scored and labeled in plain words. Alerts on price, day change, volume, a new disclosure, an ex-date or a change of trend. Research and questions over your own record with the AI subscription you already hold; Claude is our recommendation.

How it's built

Your keys on your computer, your record in your tenant.

  • The desktop app signs you in with Microsoft Entra and talks to the Prospect server for the record, and to each venue directly for prices and orders. The server never holds a venue credential.
  • Venue keys are encrypted with the operating system's own key store and used only to sign requests to that venue. Removing a connection removes the key.
  • The journal, the guards, the watchlists, the disclosures and the trend readings live in a database in your own Azure subscription, beside Attunement, deployed from code you can read.
  • Traffic to the server passes a firewall, a gateway and a client certificate, and the server validates your sign-in again before any tool runs.
  • Who may trade live, and how much, is set by the organization's owner. Nobody holds that permission by default.
  • Prospect is a desk, not an advisor: it shows prices, readings and public records, and every order is yours. It gives no financial advice.
  • You choose the AI that helps with research: the subscription you already hold, an API key, or a local model on your own machine. What you send it is yours to see, and that provider's privacy terms apply to that step.
